Yep still here....

Here is a Valentine's Day card I just made. This is for my little bug (22 yrs old, not so little). The first picture is of a hawk that was sitting on my front porch yesterday. It was really neat to see one up close.

A few cards to share

I am finally starting to get to use/play with some of my great Unity Stamps! I joined the KOTM and really haven't had time all summer. This cute ice cream cone and cherries are all a part of the KOTM. Not sure if I did it justice or not, but had fun with it.

Now everyone at work knows I make cards so I have been elected to make all the cards for the office. Which I actually really enjoy since it gives me a reason to make a card. If you haven't noticed I have been playing with different looks and techniques. I really like my CuttleBug and am trying to find all the differents looks you can get with it. The embossing folder of the little hearts is my favorite so far. You can make a card so simple and quick, but the embossed hearts seem to add the finishing touch.

This is a birthday card I made for a girl who loves pink and doesn't care for the really cluttered and wild looking cards. So I used yet again my fabulous CuttleBug die cuts for the embossed look on the edges/corners. I just used the same paper and it gave the card a very elegant look, that and the pearlescent spray that I finished it off with. (By the way, I can't take a descent picture of a card.)
Please leave me a comment with your thoughts on these cards.

Beautiful November Day!

What more can you ask for... Beautiful fall weather and a day and Nama's & Papa's! Nama even made me some acorn squash and it was sooooo yummy. Of course this was after a trip to the apple farm to get some nummy nummy apple donuts and apple cider. Life is good.

Can you believe!

That's right, 2 posts in the same month! I am on a roll... LOL Here are 2 birthday cards I made for 2 friends that have birthdays coming up. 1 of them is actually on Halloween so the scarecrow stamp from Unity was just the perfect touch for this card.

Halloween & Christmas

The spider above I made from scratch using the one below for a pattern. What do you think? For some reason I just love this goofy little guy.

Below is a get well card I made for a co-worker, she is very bright and chipper. It was kind of hard to make a card as cheery as she normally is.

Happy Hippo

Here is a very simple card I just threw together tonight, not even sure where the idea came from. But I just love this little hippo and had to use pretty soon! It's just a goofy little card for a goofy girl on her birthday. By the way, she is scared to death of birds so I just had to add a few.

Time for school

Ok, I am really having a hard time with this one. I wanted to make a little card for a certain little boy who just completed his first week of preschool and wow the brain is having a total meltdown! Everything seems to be getting lost between the brain and the hands!!!! Oh wait... I think my brain has gone on vacation for the summer and hasn't returned yet... maybe that's my problem. :)

Finally!

I know I have totally neglected my little unknown blog this summer, but I just have a hard time staying inside. I have actually been visiting everyone's sites throughout the summer. I have been doing some scrapping but just not taking the time to take pictures and post them. I am horrible. But I am finally back and guessing with that the time of year I will be around alot more.
Anyone out there going to be at the convention in Rhinelander, WI next weekend? I don't think its a very big one but hoping to pick up a few things and hopefully a few new ideas.

CPS 109 - Rejoice....

I think Easter is my favorite holiday for making cards. This was a pretty easy one, most of it was computer images printed and pieced together. I of course had to put a few Stickles onto the white lilies.... The saying is from EK Success, along with the paper, Yellow Cross Collage. The paper I got a while ago and have been hoarding it. The pack was called True Faith and has some of the most beautiful religious paper in it.
